The Thomas RECORDING electrode fiber raw material is a quartz glass insulated platinum (95%)/tungsten (5%) fiber material with outer diameters of 80 µm (standard). Other fiber diameters are available on request. This raw material is used to build microelectrodes for neurophysiological or electrochemical applications. In addition to the necessary raw materials, we also offer the required manufacturing equipment such as tip pullers and grinding machines, as well as the necessary tools for electrode production.
