The hardware programming interface consists of a programming adapter that connects to the USB port of a computer on which the programming software is installed. The programming software runs on Microsoft Windows 10/11 operating systems.

Programming Software

The microstimulator is programmed using a programming adapter that is connected to the USB port of a computer. The stimulation parameters can be selected via the GUI of a programming software. It is also possible to transfer metadata of the experiment (e.g., serial number of the stimulator, date, stimulation parameters, etc.) to the database of the programming software. This makes it easier to document the stimulation experiment. The stimulator can be programmed or re-programmed before or after implantation
