The paper “Implantable computer-controlled adaptive multielectrode positioning system” was published in April 2018 and describes the Adaptive Multi-Electrode Positioning Device (AMEP).

The AMEP is a semi-chronic system designed for non-human primates. It allows the computer controlled bidirectional movement of 16 indeptendent microelectrodes – even after implantation.
